NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce hosted its 27th annual World Championship Gumbo Cook-off this weekend taking over historical downtown Main Street, in New Iberia.
The two-day event featured the coming together of locals and visitors to celebrate Cajun cuisine and music. The main event Sunday was the gumbo cookoff where 100 teams competed to call themselves ‘champions” with the best gumbo in the world.The winners are:
