A zoo in the southern Louisiana city of Broussard is home to two new African lions.
The Daily Advertiser reports that the 2-year-old lions are brothers from the same litter.
They are currently named DJ and Pepe, but the zoo will have a contest to choose new names.
They arrived Tuesday at Zoosiana, which used to be called the Zoo of Acadiana. An exhibit there has been empty for about two years, since the previous lions died of old age.
The new lions were born at an accredited facility in Las Vegas, and were previously used for show at casinos and other businesses.
The zoo says the lions are hand-fed 15 pounds of raw meatballs a day.
