BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Three people, including two Louisiana police officers, have been injured in a crash involving a school bus and a police vehicle.
Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. tells The Advocate the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
He says the crash involved a marked police vehicle carrying Baton Rouge police officers and a school bus carrying multiple people. The cause of the crash is unclear.
The three injured people have been taken to a hospital.
A spokesman for East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services, Mike Chustz, says they are in stable condition with injuries that don’t appear life threatening.
Authorities haven’t released their identities.
