BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY)— It’s been two days since the tragic death of three police officers in the state’s capital and residents continue to gather in support.

This evening at the All Star Lanes Bowling Alley in Baton Rouge, riders were assembling to get ready for a law enforcement support ride.
Dozens of motorcycles and vehicles lined up in support of the three fallen officers starting at 6:30 this afternoon.
The ride came together in just two days and the result ended with almost 300 bikers coming to support law enforcement.
One of the motorcyclists told KLFY that the ride is to show support to the law, “To show a sign of support of law enforcement who save us every day.”
The bikers rode down Airline Highway, past where the gunman shot the three officers and ended it all with a peaceful and emotional rally in front of the Baton Rouge Police Department.
“My heart still connects to these guys protecting us, we need to show unity in our community.” Said Everett Landry, the event coordinator.
