BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY)—A Baton Rouge man has been charged with 100 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles.
A spokesperson for the Louisiana State Police said, Kames R. Fontenot II, 42, of Baton Rouge was arrested earlier today.
Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation and LSP Troop A were involved in the investigations.
According to a news release, authorities searched Fontenot’s residence with a warrant which resulted in “a large amount of images indicative of child pornography” which were located on several laptop computers and hard drives belonging to Fontenot.
Louisiana State Police charged Fontenot with 100 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
The Attorney General’s Bureau of Investigation charged Fontenot with one count of distribution of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
Fontenot was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail.
