LAKE CHARLES, La. – At approximately 5:00pm on Tuesday, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report about a body being found on D. Williams Rd. in DeQuincy.

Upon investigation it was found that the body is of an African American male. His body had been burned and the cause of death is unknown at this time.

The man has not been identified as of yet.

This is an on going investigation.
