BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) – Early voting for the December 10th runoff elections in Louisiana will end this Saturday, December 3rd.
Early voting hours run from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The marquee race in this runoff election is for the much sought after U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. David Vitter.
State Treasurer John Kennedy and Foster Campbell, a Public Service Commissioner, are the two remaining candidates from the November 8th election that are vying for the seat.
Two U.S. Congressional seats are also up for grabs in the runoff.
The 3rd Congressional District seat will be decided between Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle and former sheriff’s Captain Clay Higgins.
State Representative Mike Johnson and Lawyer Marshall Jones are both vying for the 4th Congressional District seat.
Tax issues are also on the ballot in other parishes statewide.
