FRANKLIN PARISH, La. (KLFY)– Sheriff Kevin Cobb reports that an arrest has been made in the forcible abduction and shooting of a 22-year-old Franklin Parish resident.
Kevin Q. Mathis, is was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Kidnapping.
Mathis was being held in the Franklin Parish Detention Center on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
Sheriff Cobb tells KLFY, that this is a great tragedy for Franklin Parish, and the young lady and her family are extremely active members of our community. Cobb added that he ask for prayer for the victim and her family in this extremely trying time.
