NEW ORLEANS, La. (WWL-TV) – Police announced the arrest Monday of a man they believe robbed a store twice in one night.
Police said 20-year-old Daniel Means came into the Brothers Food Mart in the 5100 block of St. Claude Avenue around 2 a.m. Sunday. Investigators said he a mask covering his face when he pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cashier.
About two hours later, police said Means came into the store again with a gun, covering his face. After robbing the store a second time, police said the cashier pulled out a gun and fired at Means. NOPD said no one was hit.
Means has been booked with two counts of armed robbery. Police said he has confessed to both crimes.
