A Louisiana Lottery ticket worth $1.8 million dollars was nearly expired but the owner has been found, as was the ticket.

That’s right, Darla. i’m sure Harold and Tina Ehenrenberg of Mandeville are thankful this holiday, not only for having a winning lottery ticket but also for having to clean the house for the festivities!
Tina says she and her husband found a pair of tickets they hadn’t checked on a nightstand while they were cleaning for the Thanksgiving holiday.
They checked the ticket several times on the lottery’s website and called the winning numbers hotline to make sure it was, in fact, a winner.
It was… and they only had two weeks left to claim their prize.
Harold and Tina took home over $1.2 million after taxes.
Not a bad way to end a day of house cleaning.
