NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -The New Orleans Police Department held a news conference Monday to announce a significant increase in the reward for information on a mass shooting over the weekend.
New Orleans police say they are working with Louisiana State Police, U.S. Attorney’s office, ATF and the FBI to identify the shooter, or shooters that killed three people and injured seven others.
On Sunday NOPD announced that Crimestoppers was offering $5,000 for information in the case. That amount has now increased to $25,000.
Ten thousand of the reward is offered through Crimestoppers. The FBI contributed another, $10,000 and the ATF contributed $5,000.
The reward will be cash, according Darlene Cusanza with Crimestoppers.
