The fight involved teens who were in the football stands observing the ceremony at Spartan stadium in Gonzales.

Gonzales police arrested 17-year-old Destiney Thompson, 17-year-old Delencia Williams Thursday night and 18-year-old Rodneisha Patterson was arrested Friday afternoon.
A group of teens got into a physical fight in the stands at the school’s graduation Wednesday. The fight was captured on video and shared widely on social media.
Police officers broke up the fight and initially detained two people who were then cleared of any wrongdoing, a police spokesperson said.
Gonzales Police Chief Sherman Jackson issued a statement Thursday saying those who took part in the fight “should be ashamed”. Jackson promised his department would analyze footage of the fight and make arrests in the case.
“Seeing footage of this incident has angered me,” Jackson said. “Adults, who should know better, detracted from the achievements of area graduates. They should be ashamed. We urge anyone with information to come forward. People must be held accountable for what happened, and incidents such as these will not be tolerated in our city. Young people worked for four years to have a brief moment of recognition at their graduation ceremony. To have that moment turned into this is inexcusable.”
All three women have been booked into the Ascension Parish jail where they have been booked with simple battery, disturbing the peace, violent and tumultuous manner and disorderly conduct.
Jackson wants to assure incidents like this will not be taken lightly.
“We will not tolerate this behavior in our city,” said Jackson. “We cannot and will not allow this behavior to have no consequences. Further arrests may also be forthcoming.”
