BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) – President-elect Donald Trump will be visiting Baton Rouge Friday afternoon as part of a “Thank You” tour, according to Tim Breaux, Trump’s Lafayette campaign manager.
Trump’s staff members are still working to determine a venue big enough for the event.
Breaux declined to comment on whether Trump would be campaigning for Republican US Senate candidate John Kennedy, who is running against Democrat Foster Campbell.
Trump stopped in Baton Rouge at the Baton Rouge River Center in early 2016 as part of his campaign for U.S. President.
News 10 will have more information as it becomes available.
