INDEPENDENCE, La. (AP) — Authorities in Louisiana are searching for a man believed to have killed a man and hidden the body with the help of his 19-year-old son.

A Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s statement says 41-year-old Michael Ray “Mitch” Moore is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder and should be considered armed and dangerous.

He’s wanted in the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Cedric Baldwin, who was reported missing Saturday and found dead Monday.

The statement says investigators learned Baldwin was last seen with Moore and interviewed Moore’s son, Jermichael Grayer, who’s currently jailed on an unrelated weapons charge.

It says Grayer told authorities that he was there when his father killed Baldwin and helped his father hide the body.

Grayer has been charged with obstruction of justice and principal to second-degree murder.
