An organ donation awareness organization received a donation from a major national department store Tuesday.

Stage Stories, Inc. presented a check for three thousand dollars to LOPA Tuesday morning.  The money was the result of the department store’s 30 days of giving campaign.

During the campaign, stage customers had the opportunity to make a donation to LOPA during checkout.

100 percent of the proceeds were given to the organ and tissue donation awareness organization.

Stage chose LOPA as their beneficiary in 2014 as well when they raised $3,272 for the organization.

In addition to their campaign, Stage chose to display a picture of LOPA hero, Christian Nelson, featuring his story next to all of their registers.

Christian saved five lives through organ donation, restored sight for two people and enhanced countless other lives through tissue donation.
