MORGAN CITY, La. (KLFY) — Hurricane-force winds knocked a large tree over in Morgan City, barely missing the house whose front yard it stood in.

A resident on the street said there have been strong winds in Morgan City all day.

St. Mary Parish is under a tropical storm warning, a flash flood watch, and a coastal flood advisory.
