UPDATE: A body was recovered in Lake Dubuisson Tuesday afternoon, the victim of an apparent drowning.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has only confirmed that the victim was a male in his mid 50s.

No proper identification has been confirmed, thus far, and no other details have been released. 

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office was also on scene and will assist in the investigation.

ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)- Authorities are searching for the body of a drowning victim in Lake 

Dubuisson this afternoon.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said the person drowned some time this morning.
