COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — If you had your heart set on a “Happy Hour Playset” from Fisher Price, you’re out of luck. It’s fake.
The image shared by comedian Amiri King went viral after it was posted Tuesday, but not everybody was in on the joke.
Enough people believed the playset was real that Fisher Price had to respond to several inquiries asking if it was a serious product.
Bernadine Moland posted on Fisher Price’s Facebook page:
Saw this and had to write. What the heck are you thinking? I hope to heaven that nobody buys this for their children it’s sick….
Fisher Price responded:
Hi Bernadine, we promise you that is not a real Fisher-Price product. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to clear things up!
Others were more understanding of the joke.
