An explosive wildfire in northern California is now threatening 700 structures, according to fire officials.
The “Country Fire” started Saturday and has burned more than 70,000 acres in Yolo and Napa counties. Evacuations are in place for several communities with a potential for more.
The dry terrain and winds are making it difficult for fire crews to battle. Fire officials say if embers fall ahead of the main fire, there’s a more than 90% chance they can start another fire.
