A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of US 90 and Ambassador.
The crash occurred according to Brossard’s Chief of Police Brannon Decou, when an SUV disregarded a red light on Ambassador.
Authorities tell KLFY that the SUV impacted a For Pickup on the drivers’ door causing the pickup to leave the roadway overturning in the process.
The driver of the pickup had to be extracted and both drivers involved in the crash along with one passenger were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the SUV was cited for a red light violation.
