Jarontaie M. Guillory 17 yrs. Old B/M 1325 Artigue St. Opelousas, La.: Illegal use of a weapon or Dangerous instrumentality.
The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
3/25/15 @ 4:59 PM, Trovon McDaniel, 28, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for Criminal Neglect of Family. McDaniel was also arrested on a warrant Houma City Court for traffic violations. McDaniel was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Samantha Yates, 29, 20380 Highway 182, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on March 25, 2015 at 12:56 pm for violation of the parish leash law. A deputy responded to a report of a vicious dog at a residence on Highway 182 in Jeanerette. The deputy learned that Yates was the owner of an animal that attempted to bite a victim ripping the victim’s clothing. The deputy released Yates on a summons to appear in court on June 17, 2015.
Henry Dennis, Jr., 31, 600 Curtis Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 25, 2015 at 2:04 pm on a warrant for unlawful possession of fraudulent documents. A deputy responded to a complaint of a business in Centerville receiving counterfeit currency. The deputy identified Dennis as the subject who paid for goods with a fake $100 bill. A warrant was obtained for his arrest. Dennis turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin Bail is set at $50,000.
