3/16/15 @ 8:20 AM, Dwan Borel, 49, of B St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Forgery of a Certificate of Insurance (3 Counts). Borel was processed and released on a $2500.00 bond.
3/16/15 @ 4:26 PM, Brian Green, 32, of Maple St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Simple Assault. Green was processed and released on a $250.00 bond.
3/16/15 @ 11:24 PM, Daylen Green, 17, of Robinson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I (Marijuana). Green was processed and released on a $2000.00 bond.

St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office
March 17, 2015
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Ricky J. Dotson, Jr., 37, 1113 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 16, 2015 at 1:35 pm for possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A deputy investigating a report of a reckless driver in the Franklin area conducted a traffic stop on Iberia Street. The deputy made contact with a passenger identified as Dotson, and observed him attempt to hide an open container of beer between the console and his seat. Also, while speaking with Dotson, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. As the investigation progressed, the deputy also located an open container of liquor in the vehicle. The deputy released Dotson on a summons to appear in court on June 17, 2015.
Christine A. Hughes, 31, 264 Vivian Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 16, 2015 at 3:26 pm on four warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Hughes turned herself in to a deputy on the warrants at the drug court building in Bayou Vista. Bail is set at $400,000.
Julie A. Gautreaux, 26, 7336 Shrimpers Row, Dulac, LA was arrested on March 16, 2015 at 4:31 pm on a warrant for theft of goods. Gautreaux was located in Terrebonne Parish on the warrant which is the result of an investigation into a theft that occurred at Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista in January. The detective assigned to the case identified Gautreaux as a subject seen on video surveillance concealing multiple new release DVD’s before leaving the store without paying for the items. Gautreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and was later released on a $1,000 bond.
Kenneth Wiggins, Jr., 43, 410 Henry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 16, 2015 at 10:43 pm for simple battery.
Nicholas Thomas, 22, 11986 Lake Charles Highway, Leesville, LA was arrested on March 16, 2015 at 10:43 pm for aggravated assault with a firearm.
A deputy responded to a report of a subject with a gun at Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista. Upon questioning the subjects involved in the incident and viewing video surveillance, the deputy determined that Wiggins struck a male victim in the face while inside the store. Shortly after the battery occurred, Thomas is seen running into the store with a gun in his hand pointed at Wiggins. Following the investigation, both Wiggins and Thomas were transported to the parish jail for booking. Wiggins was released on a $500 bond. No bail is set for Thomas.
