The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for an armed robbery suspect.

Deputies responded to the 400 block of South LaSalle Street in reference to an armed robbery around 11 pm on Thursday night. The female victim was standing outside of her home when a man approached her, pulled out a handgun and demanded her car keys. The suspect took her keys and drove off in her 2000 Buick LeSabre headed towards St. Peter Street.

The robber was wearing a white jacket and a white mask at the time of the crime.
