BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – Federal prosecutors say a 38-year-old Baton Rouge man who forced his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint to drive her empty school bus from her home to his almost 6 miles away last year has been convicted on federal carjacking and weapons charges.

U.S. Attorney Walt Green tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/1BkJkZx ) Jock Jones, who pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the incident, was found guilty Monday by U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick of carjacking and using a firearm during the carjacking.

Dick did not set a sentencing date.
