Broussard police were called for a suspicious person attempting theft at the Broussard Walmart.

While on the call, police apprehended one suspect while a second suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

The vehicle fled on U.S. 90 into Lafayette where the Lafayette Police department took over.

During the pursuit, items were being thrown out of the vehicle.

During the chase, the suspect crashed. The second suspect was apprehended at the crash.

Lafayette PD are now looking for the items thrown out of the vehicle.
