East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman Monday morning after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death at approximately 2:00 a.m. at 16112 S. Harrell’s Ferry Road.

28 year old Lisa Stewart of 16112 S. Harrell’s Ferry Road is charged with Second Degree Murder.

Deputies responded to a 911 call in which a female stated she stabbed her boyfriend with a knife. Upon arrival deputies located 34 year old George Taylor deceased inside the residence.

Stewart told detectives the two had an argument after a night out drinking with friends at which time she stabbed him with a steak knife.

Stewart was booked into parish prison.  No bond has been set at this time.
