Funeral services have now been announced for a Jeanerette police officer who died on duty early on Wednesday morning.

Visitation for Officer Juandre Gilliam will be held Saturday at the Patterson Civic Center from 8 am until funeral services begin at 1 pm.

Gilliam will be laid to rest in the Sorrel Community Cemetery with full police officer honors.
