We are watching two tropical waves; the wave north of Hispaniola has a very small chance of development, but the wave over the eastern parts of the Atlantic has a better chance of development over the next week. This may develop into Chantal over the next 5 to 10 days. As of now, chances of it moving into the Gulf are slim.
