State Police reporting that on LA 35 @ LA 365 near Branch in Acadia Parish, several bee hives have fallen from a moving truck, and hundreds of bees are swarming the area. Police say the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is en route to remove the debris from the road, and attempt to save as many of the remaining bees as possible.  Police are asking motorist to avoid the area until further notice.
