PORT ALLEN, La. (KLFY)—A Saturday morning traffic stop in Port Allen led to the arrest of a Shreveport man and the seizure of 466 pounds of marijuana on I-10.

Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop A were patrolling I-10 eastbound west of LA 415. Shortly before 10 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 Ford F-350 after they say they observed several traffic violations.

During the traffic stop, troopers say consent was given to search the vehicle. During the search authorities found 466 pounds of marijuana.

Carl Fuller, 56, of Shreveport Louisiana was arrested for possession with intent to distribute schedule I drugs.

Fuller was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Jail.
