What is your office like? A bunch of cubicles? Maybe a gourmet coffee machine if you’re lucky? Well, one office in Colorado Springs probably puts all the others to shame.

No, it’s not a local rec room at the YMCA, it’s a game room inside of BombBomb downtown. On top of the game room, there’s a tap room, a popcorn machine and even an Xbox.

“We wanna go to a place where we wanna spend our day, so why not create an environment you want to be in,” said BombBomb CEO Conor McCluskey.

All of this stuff doesn’t distract as much as you think.

“If we kinda take care of ourselves internally, take care of each other and build our relationships we’re just that much happier and more likely to help our customers,” said Danielle Montano.

BombBomb is a tech company that allows people to record and send video through email that you normally wouldn’t be able to. Because they’re a tech company, they said this type of progressive work environment just works a little bit better than it might in a corporate setting.

“Games and different things traditionally haven’t been a thing in the corporate culture, but when you do those things it actually connects people and builds community,” said McCluskey.

“I think it just makes us work as a team. We’ll play ping pong with somebody from the development team, or somebody on the phones and you just have that comradery where you can play together, you can hangout and you know they’ve got your back,” said Montano.

BombBomb is hiring, so you can go on to their website and check what job openings are available.

It is worth noting that we caught them on a Friday, where starting at 4 p.m. they get to stop working to enjoy the fun of the office. They said every other day during the week they enjoy it just as much on their breaks and after work.
