As of Tuesday April 21, 2015, St. Landry Parish officials announce the indefinite closure of the Timber Bridge located on the south side of Hwy 190 and Three Mile Lake between Krotz Springs and Port Barre.  Alternate routes are available for motorists traveling through this area utilizing the Hwy 71 exit or Three Mile Avenue.
