Make a push to come see LGMC’s newest baby as Lafayette General Medical Center is proud to announce that it will be giving birth to 19 more beds in its Women’s and Children’s Services Department.
LGMC will “cut the cord” at a ceremony planned for Tuesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. on the second floor inside the new Mother-Baby area.
The expansion includes parts of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Mother-Baby Suites, the Labor & Delivery area and the Nursery.
The NICU is adding six beds; Mother-Baby is adding 7; L&D is adding 6 beds and 3 exam rooms.
