Police are looking for a Lafayette man who allegedly scammed Scott residents out of $2,400.

The victims hired Shawn Christopher Burridge several months ago to install granite counter tops in their home.

Investigators say he cashed two checks worth a total of $2,400 but never returned to finish the work.

Scott Police have a warrant to arrest Burridge on the charge of Residential Contractor Fraud.
