Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced that the regularly scheduled residential garbage and recycling collection routes in Lafayette Parish will run as scheduled on Good Friday for Republic Services and the Recycling Foundation.
Customers should place their automated trash cans out at the curb Thursday evening for the Friday collection.
The week after Easter (March 28th – April 1st) all residential customers served by Republic Services in the parish may place excess bagged garbage that does not fit in the cans on the ground for collection.
The excess should be placed at least 3 feet away from the automated can and not in boxes or in standard cans.
The LCG Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Road will be closed on Good Friday and will reopen Monday, March 28th.
