The following is a release from the Lafayette Police Department: 

The Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, will be conducting saturation patrols for the “Buckle Up in Your Truck” campaign.

This campaign will be conducted from Friday, April 22^nd thru Thursday, April 28^th.

Special emphasis will be placed on occupants of pickup trucks during this campaign, however, all drivers are reminded to utilize their seatbelts for safety.
