On April 24th and 25th, 2015, the Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force with the assistance of the Lafayette Police Department and Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Department Intelligence Unit conducted an undercover prostitution sting in the city limits of Lafayette. The operation targeted upscale escorts and their clients who utilize social media as a means of facilitating prostitution deals.  As a result of this sting operation, the following persons were arrested:

  1. Stanford Philavong, Asian Male age 27 – Soliciting for Prostitutes
  2. Joshua Comeaux, White Male age24 – Soliciting for Prostitutes
  3. Warner Q. Borres, Asian Male age 40– Soliciting for Prostitutes
  4. Edgar Castillo, Hispanic Male age 35 – Soliciting for Prostitutes
  5. Rolando Garza, Hispanic Male age 28 – Soliciting for Prostitutes
  6. Ashley Green, Black Female age 22 – Soliciting for Prostitution
  7. Savannah Kovarik, Black Female age 19 – Soliciting for Prostitution
  8. Jarvis Curley, Black Male age 27 – Soliciting for Prostitution

Two unidentified females were detained and release pending further investigation related to suspected prostitution.
