Lafayette police are hoping to generate new leads in two recent homicides, and they’re asking the public for help. On Wednesday, they held a press conference encouraging the public to come forward with information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of both unsolved crimes. Aaron Brooks Jr. was gunned down at his residence at the intersection of Mudd Avenue and the Evangeline Thruway on May 8th, and just a few blocks away, Scottie Alfred was found in his vehicle from a gunshot wound. News Ten’s Dalfred Jones has the story.
