Twenty-five year old Landricy Kentrayle Robinson turned into law enforcement shortly after 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Melancon warrants were issued for Robinson after he allegedly ran over and killed 16 year old Antoinette Rochon of Rayne with the vehicle he was driving Tuesday night at the Meadows Apartment Complex in Crowley.
Robinson has been placed in the Acadia Parish Jail with bond set at $300,000.
Authorities in Acadia Parish are looking for a 25 year old Crowley man is being charged with Second Degree Murder following an incident that was reported shortly before midnight Tuesday.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon his office responded to a complaint that a male subject ran over a female at the Meadows Apartment Complex near Crowley. Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that following an exchange of words between several subjects a fight ensued and upon trying to leave the scene 25 year old Landricy Robinson of the 400 block of Josey Street, Crowley ran over 16 year old Antoinette Rochon of Rayne with his vehicle.
The 16 year old victim was transported by Acadian Ambulance to American General Hospital where she was pronounced dead as the result of her injuries. Deputies also advised that two bystanders were also struck by the vehicle and were treated for non life threatening injuries at Acadia General Hospital.
Landricy Kentrayle Robinson is being charged with the Second Degree Murder of Antoinette Rochon. He is also being charged with the attempted second degree murder of 20 year old Antonio Rochon and 16 year old Mariah Ozone. All three victims were from Rayne.
