State police confirm that Mayor Albert Broussard of Loreauville was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Friday on LA 86 in Loreauville by Lake Teche Rd in Iberia Parish.

Police tell us there is one critical injury, one moderate injury, and two minor injuries involved.

State police are still investigating the situation.
