UPDATE: The two subjects wanted by Lafayette sheriff detectives have been located and are in custody. They are being questioned about the shooting that occurred on Bridgeport lane this morning.

Detectives with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office are searching for two people they say are people of interest in an early morning shooting Friday.

The two people of interest are Dale D. Damond, 18, and Darius Broussard, 19. The incident occurred at 5:28 a.m. on the 100 block of Bridgeport Lane, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

No one was injured in the shooting, which officials said was a drive-by shooting.
