BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – Court documents say the prosecution plans to use screenshots of text messages and photos of the victim in the trial against LSU defensive back Jalen Mills.

The Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/19OUsAX ) Mills’ trial for simple battery is set to begin Wednesday in Baton Rouge.

State Judge Richard Moore will preside over the trial of Mills, who allegedly struck a woman in a May incident at his apartment complex.

In a motion for discovery, East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore outlined evidence for the trial, including text messages, photos of injuries to the victim and defendant, six pages of the victim’s medical records and 19 shots of the crime scene.

Mills’ attorney, Brent Stockstill, has said that his client “hit nobody” and that Mill’s girlfriend hit the woman.
