Three LSU football players including quarterback Anthony Jennings were arrested by LSU Police on Thursday.

News 10 Sports has learned Jennings, Dwayne Thomas and Maquedius Bain were arrested and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Thomas was also charged with simple burglary.

According to a police report, the players went to the victim’s home at the West Campus Apartments on June 12 to confront a student who had allegedly stolen items from Jenning’s apartment two days earlier.

LSU Police were then dispatched to the same apartment on June 14 after a witness told police that a student, later identified as Thomas, and two others came into the apartment and broke into the victim’s room and stole items.

Jennings, Thomas and Bain were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and have been suspended from the team.

The Baton Rouge Advocate reports LSU coach Les Miles immediately suspended all four players and has met with them.
