Evangeline Elementary School had very special visitors today from the National Education Associations Cat a Van reading tour.

The program brings more than 100,000 dollars in books, grants and much more to schools in need as part of the 18th annual read across America celebrations. NEA partnered with dr. Seuss and one of the stories read today was of course The Cat in the Hat or Le Chat Chapeaute.

This is the nation’s largest reading celebration with more than 45 million participating annually.
