A New Orleans Civil Court District judge has denied a motion from a French Quarter bar to stop the state from revoking its permit to sell alcohol.

According to court records, the Last Call bar had sought a restraining order that would it to continue selling liquor. Judge Tiffany Chase dismissed the request this week.

The Louisiana Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control had revoked Last Call’s permit for failing to comply with a previously signed consent agreement that called for the bar’s sales to meet state law requirements for restaurants.

Records show the business was also cited for selling alcohol to persons under 21, permitting prostitution on the licensed premise and 42 counts of improper conduct stemming from criminal activities occurring on or near the licensed premise.
