LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Lafayette Police have identified the victim in last night’s fatal shooting.
Corporal Nicole Oakes said Aaron Carmouche, 31, of Breaux Bridge, died at a local hospital after being shot in the 200 block of Rue Royale.
The suspect Cord Paul Anderson, 27, of Breaux Bridge, was arrested for second-degree murder in St. Martin Parish.
Oakes said police are still investigating the incident.
