On May 29, 2015, at approximately 4:35 am, Lafayette Police responded to an armed robbery at the Travelodge Inn, located at 1101 West Pinhook Road.  According to the on-duty manager, two black male suspects entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money.  The suspects stole money from the victim and the hotel, fleeing the area on foot.  The employee was not injured during the robbery.

The suspects were described as two black males with their faces covered.  Detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
