Lafayette Police are still searching for the suspect who allegedly shot and injured a man on Monday night.

The incident happened in the 400 block of Marigold Loop around 7 p.m. on March 14, 2016.

The victim, who was taken to a local hospital Monday night in critical condition, is now listed in stable condition.

Corporal Paul Mouton said investigators are seeking information from the public on the whereabouts of Kervin Gallien, Jr., 33.

Gaillen is wanted for attempted second-degree murder.

Witnesses told police officers they saw a black vehicle leaving the area minutes after the shooting.
