NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Police say a 26-year-old woman lost control of her car and drove into the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall G, glass doors.

While inside the lobby early Thursday morning, Officer Juan Barnes said in a news release the vehicle made a U-turn, then exited out and crashed into an exterior wall.

Barnes says Irina Palushina suffered minor injuries and no one else was injured.

He says Palushina was issued citation for reckless operation, careless operation and driving under the influence.
