The drawing isn’t until Wednesday, but people are already lining up to win at least $1.4 billion. Initially, officials estimated jackpot would be $1.3 billion – but lotto fever has upped the ante.

“I don’t know – you can’t even comprehend it,” said Todd Doering, bought Powerball ticket in Florida.

The person who wins the giant jackpot could buy about 18 G6 Jets, about 2,000 Ferraris or could buy the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“It would put LeBron James to shame it’s unbelievable,” Doering said.

But some say they would put the money to more charitable use.

“I would first help my family out but then I want to pick somebody that really, really needs help,” said Lucretia Callen.

The Powerball is now so big the billboards can’t handle it. Some billboards don’t say billion and they only go up to $999 million.

Some are already winners. Pat Darling cashed in on Saturday’s ticket.

“You’ve got $100 dollars,” the cashier said.

One hundred dollars for matching three numbers.

“Thirteen was the Powerball, 13, 19, 16 were all numbers,” Darling said. “My wife said, you couldn’t get the last two?”

Feeling more confident this time, Darling is using some of his winnings to play again.

The large jackpot has those who can’t play in their states driving across state lines – if they can. Those whose states don’t have the Powerball are Alabama, Mississippi, Alaska, Utah, Nevada and Hawaii.
